Our Indonesian Coffee comes in many different processes

We offer our premium Indonesian coffee roasted and green in many different processes such as Wine, Honey, Wild Luwak, Full-Wash or Semi-Wash, Peaberry, Longberry, Natural, or Anaerobic.

Indonesia is one of the largest coffee-producing and exporting countries in the world, if not the largest. The majority of Indonesian coffee production is the Robusta variety.

Indonesia is famous for having several specialty coffees such as ‘coffee Luwak’ (known as the most expensive coffee in the world) and many, many others.

In close cooperation with the Indonesian government we are bringing you a large variety of coffee in many varieties.

Our CEO’s Indonesian family owned the land for coffee plantations on Java since 1755, and managed them ever since.

Prince Raden Saleh Bustaman – our CEO’s cousin and Indonesia’s national hero – brought the first coffee with him to Germany in the 1830s.

The ‘Black Prince from Java’ as European newspapers called him back then was instrumental in establishing Indonesian Coffee Culture in Germany and other European countries.

In 2008 we were appointed to represent BKPM (now the Ministry of Investment) in Europe. With our own logistics and custom house brokerage services worldwide we take good care of your precious coffee shipments.

Coffee was introduced to the archipelago by the Dutch who initially planted coffee trees around their territory in Batavia but then rapidly expanded coffee production to the Bogor and Sukabumi areas of West Java in the 17th and 18th centuries. Indonesia proved to have the ideal climate for coffee production and so plantations were soon established in other areas of Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi as well.

Indonesia’s coffee plantations cover a total area of approximately 1.24 million hectares, 933 hectares of Robusta plantations, and 307 hectares of arabica plantations. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of Indonesian Coffee Production in 2019 amounted to 742 thousand tons.

Our Indonesian coffee exports in cooperation with the Indonesian government are broken down based on the Harmony System (HS) code group as follows:
